Summary

Design engineer who owns both sides of the handoff. Sole designer at Reidy.ai across iOS, web, internal tooling, and marketing, and the one who writes the production front-end; CalibrateDS is the instrumentation I built to keep the two from drifting.

Experience

Design Engineer, Reidy.ai

  • Sole designer across iOS, web, internal tooling, and marketing for an AI real-estate underwriting platform; also write the production web front-end. Shipped the iOS app in six months against a fixed launch date.
  • Built and published the design system as a versioned React package (now v11) that engineers install and build from: 42 components covering 95% of a 38-page product, replacing a legacy HTML/CSS/JS front end.
  • Wrote the implementation guide engineers build pages from and ran the gap-reporting loop behind it, taking a full site build to production in one month with a team new to React.

Product Design & UX Specialist (Contract), Mercor.io

  • Evaluated and refined AI-generated interfaces for a leading AI research lab, applying HCI heuristics and cognitive load analysis to usability, accessibility, and human-AI interaction quality.

Product Marketing & Motion Designer (Contract), Sanmore Investments

  • Led launch storytelling for a product release: motion graphics in After Effects and Premiere Pro, plus responsive landing pages built to the conversion path.

Product Designer, NeumannUX

  • End-to-end redesign of a high-traffic client site: responsive UI, WCAG 2.2 conformance, and a modular Figma design system that cut rework cycles between design and engineering.

Product Designer Apprentice, Dell Technologies

  • Led UX research for next-gen E3 server hardware, improving visibility of critical LED indicators across a fleet of 1M+ data center units.
  • Reduced IT incident response time by 32% through pattern-recognition testing and cognitive load analysis.

Earlier

  • UX Designer, TexasERC (2024): IA and navigation overhaul for a federal education data platform; 85% WCAG 2.2 conformance.
  • Product Designer Intern, Treevah (2024): shared design system across desktop and mobile; 42% fewer developer QA issues.
  • UX Designer Intern, Devlegends (2023): driver app serving 5,000+ users; style guide and onboarding flow.

Selected work

  • CalibrateDS. Design-system instrumentation that grew out of a production constraint, not a product plan: PTB for distribution, DNA for governance, and a free Figma plugin. Name parity between Figma and code is the load-bearing mechanic: it catches drift at build time and lets AI-assisted development resolve to real components. npm: @calibrate-ds/cli, @calibrate-ds/dna. calibrateds.deepadalja.com
  • Waynix. Co-founded a consumer travel app, live on the App Store. Sole designer across app UI, design system, marketing site, brand, motion, and front-end code. Idea to TestFlight in six weeks, to App Store in four months, built by four people around full-time jobs. Nov 2025 – Apr 2026.
